We're proud to have won in three categories alongside TSP at the 2022 EG Awards, including the Inclusive Design Award.
On Wednesday 2 November 2022, we had the pleasure of attending a very glamorous Estates Gazette Awards, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
We’re proud to be an inclusive workplace, and we inject this into our work wherever we can. Off the back of winner Best Small Organisation for Business Culture at the Business Culture Awards, it’s great to be able to say that we went home last week with the EG Award for Best Inclusive Design for our collaboration with TSP on the transformation of MS Society’s offices in Finsbury Park, London.
Some of the people who work for the MS Society are affected by MS themselves, meaning that creating an inclusive and accessible space for all was key. Everything down to the floorplate layout, furniture pieces and even the colours and tones used were considered to create the perfect environment for the charity to work in.
Alongside offering an improved and accessible employee experience, Peldon Rose’s design took a human-centric approach, supporting our innate need to collaborate and socialise. With few fixed assets, furniture pods can ensured be moved to create spaces fit for teamwork, project meetings, knowledge sharing, mentoring and more.
We also collaborated with TSP on our project at Thirty Lighterman in King’s Cross, which won the EG Tech Award and the Best Workplace Award. Lighterman House is a ready-to-work workspace that will allow young tech businesses the opportunity to integrate themselves into this new community, and we’re super proud of the result.
Located just around the corner from the new Google campus, the space is smart, aesthetically pleasing, and functional. Incorporating ‘plug and play’ design, it boasts a variety of work areas encouraging activity-based working to the floors. You can see this incredible building in pictures here.
Congratulations to all the night’s winners! You can read the full list here.
