Elevating the initial design concept

Transforming the visual impact and user experience of the building while staying true to the original concept design was key. Located in central London, the existing building façade was dated and worn, that poorly reflected the potential of the space within.

Initially, all external windows and doors were removed in order to make crucial alterations to the layout and opening size of the building. Starting anew, striking curtain walling was installed with an improved door and window system, outlined by the installation of bespoke wall tiling.

A powerful first impression

Now, the façade of the building is bold and impressive. With a high-quality finish, the building is instantly noticeable while walking along the main street thanks to the vibrancy of the statement tiling. Upon entry inside, the reception area reflects this high level of quality. Previously unmanned, the installation of a bespoke reception desk with white walls, clean lighting and natural floor finishes makes for a bright arrival into the space and a welcoming atmosphere for prospective and future tenants that will now be greeted on entry.

Improving the user experience

The variety of systems and external finishes were aligned to improve the overall build experience that included the installation of a recessed DDA compliant lift from the reception floor and new access control and CCTV. The result is a truly seamless and accessible experience for tenants with full management support for the building manager and landlord. A ready-to-work scheme has also been installed to seamlessly welcome new tenants into the space.
